PERSONALLY
I’ve been working in media and content (same thing) for over 25 years. A lot has changed over that time - and that kind of change doesn’t bother me. Interesting is always interesting, and that works like gravity. Whether your nailing your writings on a door or filling the sky with drones - if it’s garbage, it’s garbage.
Been fortunate to work in several capacities in the marketing world - creative direction, content production, project management. Been very fortunate to work with great people along the way. While I consider myself pretty smart, and incredibly clever, I know a lot of people that that can do certain things better than me, and it’s why the work is always great.
But at heart, I’m a writer. Started at a daily newspaper in Logan, Utah. A lot has changed.
Vermont is my home. Raised a couple kids here, raised a few German Shepherds here, and there’s always a few ducks and chickens in the yard. Smugglers’ Notch is my home mountain and I’ve taught snowboarding there for over 25 years.
Big claim: At some point I will be the longest, active snowboard instructor in the world. It’s quite attainable.
